jebbypalUmmm....I may have developed a new addiction...assuming nothing happens tonight that I blame on the new addiction.
Trader Joe's had this chocolate hazelnut butter that caught my eye...touted as a peanut butter substitute, and nothing that I can see that sets off any corn alarms. And well, it's chocolate, so at the time I assumed that it might taste a bit better than the other non-peanut nut butters I've tried. (cashew butter is hideous. Seriously, straight lard tastes better. Possibly cod liver oil as well).
So...I've tried it...and OMG!!!!! It's sooooooooooo good. It really does have a peanut-y flavor combined with the chocolate flavor. (yes, I do remember the taste of peanut butter. I cheated enough with it and reeses cups and butterfingers...and *drools*. Obviously, I have a pattern of nonlethal, but very painful allergies).
