Omg!!!

Well my headache yesterday abated long enough for me to enjoy watching Peacekeeper Wars during the afternoon. I think this is only the second or third time I've seen it actually.

( I still can't get over how long it seems to be. *spoilers* )

Seriously, how did I go so many months without watching any farscape????

Now to remove my brain from the fannish place and hope it's through with being sick so I don't screw up anything at work.

Well, I failed to keep doing one a day, but i did do one last week.

Serenity by Dangerous Mind Productions.
Spoilers through Season 4, but the narrative is largely Season 3-ish.

Generally, I find it very had to like a vid to a song that I've seen vidded in another fandom. However, I've only seen Serenity by Godsmack done in the Firefly fandom and for some reason, that vid never grabbed me very much. The song really fits Farscape better I think and DMP takes this vid to another level with intercuts of Godsmack performing the song in concert.

Review of kazbaby's Save You vid

I was rather long winded there, so I'm not going say much here other than "prettttty. trippy. go and download and give kaz some feedback".

Back to back kazbaby vids were rather unintentional. I'll try to space the vidders out a tad better.

Hopefully I didn't jump the gun too much by going ahead and posting my first rec before DIYA did the monthly round up. *hides*

I recced what was the first vid of Farscape that I ever watched, even before I watched any of the show. This vid convinced me to buy the season 1 starburst editions (affordable! eee!) and then had me competing on ebay for the rest of the seasons because i simply could NOT wait for the rest of the series. I have issues with delayed gratification, yes, why do you ask?

Anyway, I'm going to discuss what my original thoughts were as I remember them and then how much I still love the vid. exsequar, and anyone else still watching the series for the first time, HUGE spoilers for season 2. So avoid or read at your own risk (I'll do my best to remember to say whether there are spoilers or not for each one. Really. But if you are spoiler phobic, email me at the LJ address and ask and I'll double check for you).

farscape vidders: I know you are on my flist. I stalk you heartily.

Here's the deal, I agreed to sign up next month to do reviews and recs for farscape for the_reel. Which, recs aren't actually a problem except for tracking down links for the two discs worth of vids I have burned since my last computer ...incident. *knocks on wood*

However, currently, there are no Farscape vids submitted to be reviewed. So, if you'd like to have concrit on your vid rather than me saying "ben browder is pretty and I like the song so go and download it" (I jest, my recs will be a bit better than that, but they won't be full reviews), go and submit your vid for review.. deathisyourart has changed things so that imeem and youtube vids are allowable now to submit for reviews (just no yousendit/megaupload links allowed).

ETA --- also, Death is really looking for folks to participate for Veronica Mars and Lost fandoms. Come on, two live fandoms like that shouldn't be so...empty of vids at the reel.
