This is an excellent Chiana vid and amazingly edited. It's set up as a play about the Chiana-D'argo-Jothee love triangle and it just works so well on sooo many levels.
Specific time notes:
opening -- Rygel watching Chiana on the clamshell sets the mood of voyeur and makes this work well as a "play".
0:30 - 0:57-- the introduction of Chiana and the motivations of early season 1/2 Chiana -- all about her baby, her and her needs. This intro really works well to connect her to the music as a "woman of the night"
1:30 -- D'Argo's intro as the man trying to "save" Chiana.
1:41 - Jothee's intro
2:00 - It's more than I can stand The scene of D'Argo watching Jothee and Chiana from the door is genius editing here.
2:35 - Believe me when I say I love you with D'Argo kissing Chiana.
2:55 - D'Argo watching Chiana and Jothee over the clam shell. Here comes the revenge portion of the play.
3:36 -3:54 -- The violence of this sequence does well to recall the violence and betrayal that I felt when I first watched this episode and scene. D'Argo's anger and Chiana's pain are very powerful and well paired with the music.
And the ending kills me every time I see it. A wonderful vid.
