I bought an interesting looking chocolate bar from Trader Joe's tonight after making sure that the only corn amibguous word present was sugar (which unlike glucose, glucose syrup, and a few other monikers, could actually mean stacey-friendly cane sugar).

Since I have been STARVING since 4pm (my body has not adjusted to my attempt to ratchet down the amount of fat intake. In fact, I think it's protesting enough that my lack of carb loading has caused it to reconsider pms or something. But I know it's probably waiting till Monday to fully start to make my life hell), I decided to open it up and try it despite the bag of open Lindor chocolates B gave me for Valentine's day (belatedly, with a comic book..err excuse, graphic novel). I swear the boy wants me to retain the buddha belly -- but I will not give in and buy a size bigger of jeans (especially since that would ensure that I'd have to have all my jeans hemmed).

Anyways, the bare is TJ's brand Divine Duets-- milk chocolate w/ an almound praline cream.

OMG. Words cannot express how exquisite and different the taste was (anything different for me is exciting. All the food I can eat anywhere seems to always be the same and I miss having diversity in desserts).

Heaven. Seriously. The closest thing I can compare it to is a reese's peanut butter cup except richer. Not quite caramel, though. And given that I've never been able to eat reese's cups, despite loving them, due to my longstanding GI issues with peanuts, it's even better.

I'm trying to control myself since I'm cooking dinner and I really should wait to see if I notice anything from these two pieces, but OMG. Honestly, in this case, chocolate really is better than sex.
